There are so many great series on Netflix that we have broken them up into three categories.

1. Must-See – Ten of the best series on Netflix that everyone should tick off their list.

2. Binge Watching - Ten of the best series to binge watch while snuggled under your duvet and in your favourite pyjamas.

3. Watch & Go – Ten of the best series to watch when you don’t have the time to lie around all day, or you just want a light-hearted laugh.

 1. Prison Break

It’s an oldie but a goodie. Prison break finished in 2009 after a four year run, the first series of this show, especially, is regarded as one of the best in the business.

2. Suits

Suits follows top lawyer, Harvey Spector, and his genius protégé, Mike Ross. Although Mike has one secret that could ruin everything. It’s funny, it’s dramatic, it’s charming and it’s addictive – it’s the prefect binge watch.

3. Underbelly

Possibly one of the lesser known series on the list, Underbelly has been described as “Australia’s best ever crime drama”. This is the first of six series which all document a different time in Australia’s gangland crime. Based on real events, the first instalment focuses on the gangland war in Melbourne from 1995-2004. All six series are unique, entertaining and highly addictive.

4. 24

Talk about a binge watch, you might have to take a whole week off work to get through this one. 24 premiered in 2001 and has aired 192 episodes with a new series due to air this May.

5. Heroes

When this supernatural series first aired in 2006 it was all the rage. Everybody spoke about it, watched it and praised it, but as the years went on it did loose some if it’s spark. After four seasons the show went off air in 2010, but you can still relive the good times on Netflix.

6. Lilyhammer

Lilyhammer is the first original Netflix series, all eight episodes were made available in February 2012. Based in Norway, the show centres a New York gangster trying to start a new life in Lilliehammer. The first series saw huge success, the second series aired in late 2013 and filming of series three is currently underway.

7. Fringe

As confusing as the title is, this show has nothing to do with hair. The science fiction series first aired back in 2008 and after five seasons and 100 episodes, it finished in January of 2013. The team of FBI agents use fringe science to investigate mysterious cases, which are related to a parallel universe.

8. Lie to Me

Lie to me is an American crime drama with a difference. Dr. Cal Lightman helps law enforcement with cases by reading their reactions and facial expressions. The series ran for three seasons from 2009 to 2012.

9. White Collar

White Collar features Neal Caffrey, the highly intelligent con artist who is taken on to help law enforcement catch con artists like him . They show is still running since it first aired in 2009 and the sixth season will film later this year.

10. Buffy

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a classic. The series has recently been given a new lease of life by appearing on Netflix and the world has subsequently fallen for Buffy all over again. The series ran for seven seasons spanning from 1997 to 2003.
